About us

I am Dominyka, but my French friends and colleagues simply call me Domi.
I was born and raised on the Lithuanian coast, in Klaipėda – a city shaped by sea winds, where walks through the dunes of Smiltynė become almost a philosophy of life.

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science at Klaipėda University and later worked as a lecturer in the Faculty of Information Technologies at what is now Klaipėda University of Applied Sciences.

But life often brings unexpected turns.
One sunny spring day, during a hike between Palanga and Šventoji, I met someone who changed the course of my life. As in that little joke: “Someone comes along and says: go to France.” And without thinking too much, I replied: “Why not?!”
That’s how my French adventure began — and it has now lasted for more than ten years.

I lived for several years in Paris and its surrounding region before moving to a truly authentic French village, about 80 km north of the capital. It’s a modern lifestyle — living in the countryside while working in the vibrant rhythm of the city.

Over the years, I have explored many different fields. I worked in an organization dedicated to fighting poverty and social exclusion, supporting homeless people, job seekers, and vulnerable communities.
Later, I moved into the world of technology, developing websites across a variety of industries, including cosmetics, comics, cybersecurity, and even airport telecommunications.

My life took an unexpected turn when a serious leg injury forced me to rethink my daily routine. Working as a programmer behind a computer screen gradually lost its meaning, and this became the starting point for a major transformation: becoming a guide in Paris and the Picardy region.

Today, with great enthusiasm, I guide visitors through the streets of Paris, sharing the city’s rich history while revealing its hidden gems and lesser-known corners.

After fascinating studies and invaluable hands-on experience, I am proud to say that I have officially obtained a professional culinary qualification in France.
This means that my Paris tours are now enriched with even more authentic flavors, aromas, and secrets of French gastronomy. You won’t just hear stories about charming streets, hidden courtyards, or iconic squares – you will taste Paris.

Very soon, I will begin professional training as a travel coordinator (“accompagnatrice de voyages”).
My mission is not only to show you the sights, but to create a truly authentic experience of French life.

I work as a registered self-employed professional in France and can provide invoices.
